CIY Summer Conference 2008
June 16-20
Actual travel time is June 15-22 (Sunday to Sunday)
This event is for 9th – 12th Graders
We will be attending the conference held on the Campus of Fort Lewis College in Durango Co.
We currently have 22 adults and students sign-up to attend this conference. All those attending need to come to a brief meeting on April 6th after the 10:45 AM service.

For 6th graders thru Sr. High
June
11th Pool Party at Tony Carter’s home
Meet at the church at 6:00 PM. Bring your swim gear and your favorite 2 liter pop. We will return to the church around 9:00 – 9: 30 PM. Don’t forget your towel!
25th Grill-out and Games
Wear clothes you can get wet and messy. We will be playing games like blind water balloon volleyball and Alka Seltzer Tag. Bring $3.00. We will be eating hamburgers and hotdogs. Fun starts at 6:30 PM and ends at 9:00 PM.
July
9th Pizza and Set Up
We will be eating some pizza and setting up for the Weekend VBS program. Meet at 6:30 PM and your service is done by 8:00 PM.
30th Salvation Army Soup Kitchen
Meet at the church at 3:30 PM. We will be going to cook and serve a meal to the needy. We might also participate in a foot washing service and handout new socks. Come ready with a servant’s heart. This is open to students as well as adults and parents. The Shawnee Salvation Army is located at 200 E. 9th (Corner of 9th and Union next to the Post Office.) Bring money for a Sonic run
